Question 1

Who is Altair Aviation?

Accepted Answer

Altair Aviation is a Toronto-based private jet charter broker. We arrange on-demand private flights by sourcing suitable aircraft and operators on behalf of our clients. Altair is a charter broker and does not own or operate aircraft; all flights are performed by properly licensed air carriers and operators.

Question 2

What does Altair Aviation do?

Accepted Answer

Altair acts as a charter broker: we listen to your travel requirements, source an appropriate aircraft and operator for the route, coordinate ground handling and permits, prepare a transparent quote, and manage the booking through to departure. We coordinate the trip end-to-end rather than operating the aircraft ourselves.

Question 3

Where does Altair Aviation operate?

Accepted Answer

We arrange charter flights departing primarily from Toronto and across Canada, with service to the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central and South America. We can also quote international flights beyond these regions on request, subject to operator availability and regulatory permits.

Question 4

How does private charter work?

Accepted Answer

You share your origin, destination, dates, and passenger count. We source a suitable aircraft from our network of licensed operators, prepare a quote showing the flight cost, fees, and taxes, and once you accept and the aircraft owner approves, we coordinate ground handling, catering, and permits. On the day of travel you depart from a private terminal (FBO) on your schedule.

Question 5

How do I request a quote?

Accepted Answer

Use the Request a Quote page on this site, fill in your trip details, and you will receive a case reference number. A charter advisor will follow up with a personalized quote. You can also use the instant estimate concierge for a rough ballpark figure before requesting a formal quote.
